My Story
So, i became an independent Scentsy Consultant completely by chance.
I was that crazy nutter who liked candles but would never light them as i didn’t like to leave them unattended. I opted for reed diffusers which run out in the blink of an eye, just so i could get the fragrance without the flame. I nearly didn't go to the 1st Scentsy house party i was invited to... I even walked away from that party not buying anything! :O. I was however, sent home with a little bag of wax samples which i plonked on the side in my kitchen. I had seen a warmer i liked at the party, but just wasn’t sure this whole Scentsy thing was for me. That little bag of wax samples kept calling to me. Every time i walked passed them i had to go over and have a little sniff. After a couple of weeks of this weird, and totally out of character behaviour, i bought my 1st warmer (yes i said 1st, meaning i now have more!). A few months later, i went to a 2nd Scentsy house party. I then bought my 2nd warmer. I finally attended my 3rd Scentsy house party, and this is the one where i decided that i needed to join and start my own business selling this stuff! The products just impress me, the fragrances are out of this world and the support network is better than i could ever have imagined. I get to work my business around my children and husband, i am actually bringing in a wage from this too and i am get paid to party!! I get to meet some great people at the parties, and i also get to be me for a few hours, instead of Mum. I am even working my Scentsy business around another business that i have. So i think all is working out. I wanted a bit of money in my pocket, but since i have been a Consultant, this company has offered me so much more in personal development and i now have a fire in my belly that is driving me to do so much more, even my Daughter loves Scentsy and sniffing the ‘smellies’ as she calls them. She loves to help where she can!
